This is an Original free-form PBEM RPG based on the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter books by Laurell K. Hamilton. Only original Characters permitted. (You don't have to read the books to join the game.) We've been playing for about a month and I'd really like to see more were creatures join the game (ie werewolves, wereleopards, wereswans etc)

Premise:
Vampires, Were creatures, Witches and Zombies all co-exist with humanity. Humans know of the creatures that go bump in the night and live peacfully with them: till now...
Four months ago, a freak phenomenon blanketed the metropolis of New Hope Falls in Darkness. The media has dubbed the town "Darkness Falls", and no one knows what is causing the permanent night time over the expansive city, or if it will ever go away. The Master of the city swears that vampires did not cause the event, yet the human activists of the city insist that they did and that they must be stopped. Tensions are high, and the city is on edge, waiting for a ray of light to form in the darkness of the mystery.
